Packing Your Shipment
Proper packing is the best way to protect your shipment on its journey from the U.S. to Belize. Our goal is to deliver your items safely, but how you pack makes a big difference. Please read the tips below before preparing your shipment.

01
How to Pack Boxes & Totes
-
Use sturdy boxes or totes - thin or reused boxes provide less protection.
-
Fill empty spaces with bubble wrap, towels, or foam to keep items from shifting.
-
Reinforce boxes with strong tape on all edges and corners to prevent them from opening during transit.
-
Always declare items correctly.
⚠️ Under-declared or unlisted commercial goods will not be cleared by customs.
02
How to Pack a Barrel
-
Double wrap dry goods (rice, beans, cereal, etc.) in plastic bags to avoid spills.
-
Wrap glass jars, china, and breakables with newspaper, bubble wrap, or clothes.
-
Seal all liquids by taping lids securely to prevent leaks.
-
Place heavy/bulky items at the bottom of the barrel for stability.
-
Fill gaps with small items (e.g., toothpaste, toiletries) to keep contents tight.
-
Keep scented items (soap, perfumes, deodorants) in separate plastic bags or containers.

What to Expect During Transport
Cargo is stacked and squeezed tightly to maximize space.
The container is shipped across the ocean, then off-loaded for customs inspection in Belize.
After clearance, your shipment is moved to our Cayo warehouse for reconciling and sorting.
Finally, your packages are transferred into a delivery truck for delivery or pickup, as listed on your receipt.
04
